2023: Former Enugu Governors, Nnamani, Chime Reconcile

The age-long political rivalry between two former governors of Enugu State, Senator  Chimaroke  Nnamani and his successor, Sullivan Chime, seems to have ended as the latter reportedly paid a reconciliatory visit to the former at his Agbani country-home, Enugu on Friday.

A source who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity said the meeting could be in connection with 2023 race in the as the two former governors might have decided work together again for the betterment of the people.

This development came as the Ebeano political group has concluded plans to return to the mainstream of Enugu politics with a massive mobilization of all its key members.

Also, it was learned that major stakeholders have started a massive solidarity visit to the state Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi at the Government House, Enugu on Saturday, according to the convener of the pro-Ugwuanyi solidarity visit and former Secretary to Enugu State Government (SSG), Dr Dan Shere.
