Just In: APC Chairman In Ondo Resigns, Joins PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo state has on Friday received a boost as an All Progressive Congress, APC chairman in the state step down from his position to join the opposition party.

According to the report reaching Naija News at the moment, APC chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government Area of the state, Samuel Olorunwa Ajayi, has decamped to the Nigeria opposition party a few hours ago.

It was reported that the chairman tendered his resignation letter at the party’s secretariat today, July 10, and as well confirmed that he has already decided to join the PDP camp.

Standard News learned that the now-former APC chairman is a close friend to the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, who also recently left the party for the Umbrella party.

Meanwhile, Ward 10 Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, Stephen Oshawo has explained why he suspended the former national chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole.
