He added that his family is continuing with isolation/medication and assured Deltans that he will be back very soon to continue governance. He wrote:

Recall that Okowa had announced that one of his children has been diagnosed with the deadly COVID-19 virus.

Okowa, in a statement via Twitter last week Friday, disclosed that his daughter, Edith tested positive for the virus. He wrote;

"Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19. Hence, in-line with the laid out procedures, we are both going into isolation for the next 14-days."

"We will continue to keep you all updated."
